Hi, I’m Shelese Moaning
I am Shelese Moaning, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. As a mental health clinician, I have worked in various clinical settings, including serving as an assessment/admission specialist in psychiatric facilities, facilitating group and family sessions in an intensive outpatient setting, working as a crisis counselor for a division one university, and providing contract mental health services for organizations in need of additional support.
In addition to my experience as a mental health professional, I am passionate about working with college and university students. I have been able to utilize my crisis and conflict management skills in several areas, such as residence life (housing), academic advising, and teaching as an adjunct instructor for a first-year seminar course.

My Approach

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
